What issues do you face if you're young, black and British? #1XtraTalk
The panel discuss issues facing young, black, Britons today.
We brought together a group of journalists, musicians, DJs, activists and commentators to address the issues faced by young, black British people today.
Hosted by 1Xtra's own Ace and BBC journalist and presenter Bridgitte Tetteh, they were joined by singer and songwriter Shakka, TV presenter and writer Emma Dabiri, Joshua Virasami from Black Lives Matter UK, social commentator Rants N Bants, sports journalist and former Olympian Jeanette Kwayke and 1Xtra DJ Seani B, who recently made a documentary called 'Black Is A Dirty Word' looking at the experience of being black in the UK.
The panel had mixed views on how directly applicable Black Lives Matters' US aims could be to UK ones - and you agreed
