Why are the world's biggest popstars sharing random letters on Twitter?

What the heck's going on?

You might have seen a host of top pop stars tweeting some lovely photos of themselves accompanied by a random letter and it left everyone a tad confused.

Clean Bandit kicked things off when they nonchalantly shared a band photo and the letter 'D'.

The 1975 followed suit with a snap of an 'H'.

Even Justin Bieber and Usher got involved, tweeting the letters 'L' and 'A'. What could that mean?

Naturally, fans over on Twitter were all getting a bit confused about the cryptic tweets and didn't hold back in their inquisitive nature...
