Placebo perform Pure Morning live for the first time since 2007

Placebo are back and blasted away the Monday morning blues. They revisited plenty of classic hits and gave us a taste of how their latest material sounds ahead of their 20th anniversary tour.

They opened with their 1998 hit Pure Morning

In an interview with NME lead Brian Molko admitted “we haven't played [it] in almost ten years and may not play again.” The last time the band played Pure Morning live was back in 2007.

They played a selection of newer tracks including their latest single Jesus’ Son from their new album A Place For Us To Dream
