8 things Jennifer Aniston just taught us about Christmas that we NEVER knew...

When Matt Edmonson sat down with Jennifer Aniston recently to talk about her new movie Office Christmas Party he was despo to get the scoop on her Christmas rules. BECAUSE IT'S JENNIFER ANISTON.

Turns out we learned A TON about the holiday season from Jen that we never knew…

1. There’s such a thing as a French exit…

It’s when you go to a party then bounce a minute later. AU REVOIR.

2. Tinsel is actually called garland…

We’ve been calling tinsel ‘tinsel’ this whole time when tinsel is actually thin strips of glittery plastic to lay on your tree. The regular stuff we use is called Garland and it’s ‘garbage’. Oh…

3. Don’t sniff your tinsel…

It’s weird. And don’t ask her to sniff yours.

4. It’s okay to put up your Christmas lights in November…

But NOT the tree. Too keen.

5. Put an aspirin in your Christmas tree’s water...

We don’t know how that works but we’re doing it.

Is it hungover?

6. Take your tree down on Boxing day…

“When it’s done, it’s done.” But…..no. Please.

7. Watch Bad Santa and Die Hard at Christmas…

She doesn’t care for Home Alone 2 or The Muppet Christmas Carol.

8. If you find yourself in need of small talk at the office party ask about someone’s Xmas plans…

And then French exit that bad boy!

*drops the mic*

Literally.
