BBC Music Sound of 2018 Live - everything you need to know

Some of the year’s most exciting new names are teaming up to play the first EVER BBC Music Sound Of Live, and they'll be joined by an already-massive, former Sound Of winner.

Radio 1’s Annie Mac is hosting the special gig at BBC Maida Vale Studios on 30th January. Here’s everything you need to know:

Who’s playing?

Norwegian pop sensation and 2018 winner Sigrid is confirmed to play.

She’s joined by two more acts from this year’s top five: multi-talented songwriter Rex Orange County and Manchester four-piece Pale Waves.

They're joined by two MCs who made the Sound of 2018 longlist: inventive London rapper Not3s, plus Drake-certified star Yxng Bane. It’s a who’s who of exciting talent, all ready to shape the next 12months.

It's not all about brand new names. After winning Sound of 2015, Years & Years are joining the bill! Olly Alexander and co. will be returning for their first show of 2018, and it's going to be incredible.
