New Music Biennial 2017 on Radio 3
New music alert!
PRS Foundation’s New Music Biennial 2017 will see 20 pieces of new music performed across two festival weekends: one in Hull (UK City of Culture 2017) and the other at London's Southbank Centre.
Ten of the 20 pieces have been written within the last 15 years, while ten are brand new commissions. The result is a snapshot of new music from a broad range of genres – from folk, jazz and world music to electronica and contemporary classical.
All 20 pieces will be broadcast on Radio 3 and will subsequently be available to stream afterwards via the Radio 3 website and to download from NMC Recordings.
