New Family Social

New Family Social is the UK network for LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) adoptive and foster families. Whether you are still deciding how to form your family, are on the way to being a parent, or are busy getting on with family life, you can find others near you in the same situation to share your journey. Be My Parent

Be My Parent is a family-finding service for children in the UK, provided by the British Association for Adoption & Fostering.

The Be My Parent service is for families interested in adoption and fostering - whether approved, in the process of being assessed, or making initial enquiries about the process - as well as social workers and agencies who place children for adoption and permanent fostering.

Gingerbread

Gingerbread is a national charity working with and for single parents. They provide information and expert advice on anything from dealing with a break-up, to going back to work or sorting out maintenance, benefit or tax credit issues.

Missing People

Missing People offers a lifeline for the 250,000 people who run away and go missing each year in the UK. For those left behind, the charity provides specialised support to ease heartache and confusion, and helps search for their missing loved ones through its helpline 116 000.

You can call or text 116 000, or email Missing People 24/7, confidentially and for free, for any of the following reasons:
• If you have run away from home or care, been forced to leave home, or if you are thinking about running away
• If you think someone may be looking for you and would like to pass a message home in confidence to say you are safe and well
• If you have a sighting or information about a missing person
