Kaiser Chiefs perform Ruby

Kaiser Chiefs play the Royal Academy of Arts to mark the start of the Summer Exhibition

The Kaiser Chiefs performed an acoustic version of their number one hit Ruby in the courtyard of the Royal Academy of Arts, marking the start of the Summer Exhibition season.

The band, fronted by The Voice coach Ricky Wilson, played a set at the private view and party to launch the annual event.

BBC Arts at The Royal Academy was at the opening, with presenters Kirsty Wark and Alastair Sooke going behind the scenes of the world's largest open art exhibition, finding out what goes into curating and hanging the show.

The Royal Academy Summer Exhibition is open to the public from 9 June to 17 August
