Faith in the World Week 2016
Sunday 23rd to 30th October

What is Beauty?
From Sunday 23rd to Sunday 30th October, Faith in the World Week explores ideas of beauty and our relationship with it.
Throughout the week across Radio 2 and the BBC, listeners will hear powerful stories and thought-provoking interviews as it looks at what we mean by beauty. Questions asked include 'What qualities make someone beautiful?', 'Why does western culture exaggerate the importance of physical appearance whilst many people regard inner beauty as more important?', 'How is beauty measured in old age or disability?'.
As well as special programming on BBC Radio 2; BBC Local Radio, Sunday Morning Live and BBC Radio 5 Live will also be celebrating Faith in the World Week.
