Kevin joins the Trust from the South Bank Centre, Europe's biggest arts centre, where he was Director of Marketing and Communications.

His career in communications also includes posts with the Arts Council, English National Ballet, Sunderland University and Bristol 2000.

Announcing the appointment, Stephen King, Director of the BBC World Service Trust, said: "We are delighted to have someone of Kevin's experience leading communications at this key stage in the Trust's development.
