Peter Fincham, Controller of BBC ONE, and Jon
Beazley, Controller of Entertainment Commissioning, today confirmed Davina, the series, will not be returning to BBC
ONE.
Peter Fincham said: "Davina played in a very challenging slot on BBC. It's right for BBC ONE to take risks and I'm glad we did it. At the moment we don't have any plans to bring Davina back but we remain committed to working with Davina
McCall on a long term basis.
"Our next BBC project together is co-presenting Sport
Relief alongside Chris Evans and Gary
Lineker."
Jon Beazley added: "Taking on a chat show was always a tough challenge and I want to thank Davina and the production team for their hard work on the series.
"I've enjoyed working with Davina and look forward
to Sport Relief."
Davina McCall's next project on BBC ONE is in July when she will co-host Sport Relief.
