Neil and Christine Hamilton are to present BBC Radio Swindon and BBC Radio Wiltshire's Christmas morning programme from 9.00 to 11.00am.
Christine says: "This year I'll be delegating the Christmas lunch to my 92-year-old mother while we're presenting our show!"
The former MP and his wife moved into the county last December, just in time for Christmas, and spent the festive period surrounded by packing cases.
The couple will be chatting to many of their celebrity friends during the show, including Gyles Brandreth.
They are also hoping to hear from their chum Carol Thatcher, who was recently seen winning I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here.
They will also be playing music including tracks from their favourite era, the Sixties and Seventies.
Both are very excited to be presenting a show on their own local BBC radio station.
Christine says: "National TV and radio is all very well, but to be able to talk to friends and neighbours is very special. Local Radio is much more intimate."
They admit that they are not very technically minded. Neil says: "We'll need a signal man to pull the handles!"
The Hamiltons will be broadcast on Christmas Day from 9.00 to 11.00am on BBC Radio Swindon (103.6FM) and BBC Radio Wiltshire (103.5, 104.3, 104.9FM).
Other highlights from the holiday schedule include:
Swindon Town manager Iffy Onuora talking to friends from football and the wider world of sport on Christmas Eve at noon;
a frank two-hour programme with XTC's Andy Partridge from Swindon on New Year's Day at 2.00pm;
and another chance to hear An Audience with Justin Hayward on Boxing Day at 11.00am.
The original Justin Hayward broadcast and pictures on bbc.co.uk/wiltshire attracted tens of thousands of page impressions to the website from all over the world. The concert at The Apartment in Swindon raised £1,500 for this year's BBC Children in Need appeal.
