Sporting heroes will gather to compete in the BBC Regional Sports Awards at the beginning of December.
BBC Sports presenter Rob Bonnet will be the host at the awards ceremony in the Forest Pines Hotel in Broughton, Lincolnshire on Monday 5 December.
The award categories are:
Unsung Hero
Sports Personality of the Year
Team of the Year
Young Personality
Coach of the Year
Best Mascot
Head of BBC Regional and Local Programmes for Yorkshire and Lincolnshire, Helen Thomas, said: "We have a huge amount of sporting talent in our region and we are really looking forward to celebrating that talent at the awards ceremony in December."
Almost 200 people are expected to attend the event, which is sponsored by Kingston Communications. Managing Director, Kevin Walsh, said: "Sport - both at amateur and professional levels - plays an important part in the communities in which we operate, and we're delighted to be associated with the BBC Sports Awards for the region."
Judges include: Kevin Walsh of Kingston Communications; and the following sports editors - David Burns from BBC Radio Humberside; Simon Clark, BBC Look North; Michael Hortin, BBC Radio Lincolnshire; Stuart Rowson, Hull Daily Mail; Bob Steels, Scunthorpe Telegraph; and Leigh Curtis, Lincolnshire Echo.
Winners of the Sports Personality of the Year and the Unsung Hero of the Year will go forward to the national BBC awards in London later that month.
