A new face is set to cause a stir in Albert Square later this year.
Emma Barton has been cast to play Honey Edwards.
Honey works for a honey trap agency, helping to catch out cheating husbands. She arrives in Albert Square after being booked by one resident who has suspicions about her husband.
However, when Honey starts to put her plan in action, not everything goes to plan.
Emma said: "I can't wait to join EastEnders and play Honey. She's a really sweet girl who always wants to do the best for everyone, but she's not exactly the brightest star in the sky."
Emma trained at the Guildford School of Acting. She has featured in many theatre productions including Grease and The Secret Garden.
Her television credits include Spooks and Secret History.
Honey will join EastEnders in November.
