BBC Radio Cambridgeshire announced today that it will continue to offer commentary of every Cambridge United game next season.

The BBC local radio station has stood by the club through a turbulent season which has ended in relegation and bankruptcy for the club.

Alison Dawes, BBC Radio Cambridgeshire's Assistant Editor, said: "Our sports team has been the first with news of the U's on many occasions and alongside the commentary we hope to continue to bring exclusive interviews and revelations about events both on and off the pitch."

For many years Radio Cambridgeshire has been the only radio station to provide live commentary of every home and away game.

This service is also provided free to the club's website.

The U's commentary is going to be complemented by more regular live updates and commentary on both Cambridge City and Histon Town which both go into next season in a strong position after a successful year.

Radio Cambridgeshire broadcasts its commentaries on Saturday Sport from 2.00 to 6.00pm with Peterborough games on 95.7 FM and Cambridge games on 96 FM.
