BBC WM presenter
Ed Doolan is getting out and about in the Black Country.
Ed is visiting the BBC WM Shop at the Merry
Hill Centre on Sunday (8 August) to sign copies of the first edition
of the new BBC WM Magazine between 3.00 and 4.00pm.
Consumer champion Ed is on the front cover of the magazine and, inside,
listener Elizabeth Armour turns the tables on him in a revealing interview.
The Australian broadcaster, who recently celebrated
30 years of broadcasting in the Midlands, is well known for standing
up for the public and cutting through the red tape of the establishment.
BBC WM listeners are invited to come and "press flesh" with
Ed between 3.00 and 4.00pm at the BBC WM Shop, on the lower level mall
opposite BHS.
Ed and BBC WM moved into BBC Birmingham's new premises at The Mailbox,
Birmingham, on Sunday 4 July.
Ed's programme was the first to be broadcast from the
new studios.
Listeners can tune into Ed Doolan on BBC WM, Mondays to Fridays from
10.00am to 1.00pm, and Sundays from 9.00am to Noon, on 95.6FM.
