A double of new rights for BBC Sport


BBC Sport today announces two new sports deals that will give terrestrial audiences access to some of the UK's greatest sporting events.


Wimbledon


The BBC will continue to be the host broadcaster and UK rights holder for The Championships, Wimbledon, from 2005 to 2009 inclusive.


The five-year agreement covers BBC television, radio and online.

UK Athletics


BBC Sport has won the exclusive rights to broadcast all the key UK domestic athletics meetings - indoor and outdoor - up to and including 2008.


Outdoor Meetings
· Norwich Union International
· Norwich Union Super League
· Norwich Union World Trials and AAA's Championships
· Norwich Union London Grand Prix


Indoor Meetings
· Norwich Union International
· Norwich Union Indoor Trials and AAA's Championships
· Norwich Union Indoor Grand Prix
