BBCi across digital TV

BBCi's Wimbledon interactive service returns, bigger and better for 2003, expanding the choice of viewers across all digital platforms.

BBCi's interactive service provides more choice for digital viewersWhether you get your digital signal through digital satellite (Sky), digital cable (NTL/Telewest) or Freeview, BBCi at Wimbledon gives you the chance to choose between action from up to four different courts as well as the live broadcast match on BBC ONE or BBC TWO.

As well as being able to choose the match you watch, this year's expanded service includes the chance to participate in four live chats throughout the day's play and access to live scores and news from across all Wimbledon’s courts.

Topics will range from who will make it through to the next round, to a look back at some of Wimbledon's legends.

Whatever your level of tennis knowledge there is a chance to interact with fans from across the country.

In addition to the live match broadcast on BBC ONE or BBC TWO, digital viewers have the following options, depending on which platform they subscribe to.

Digital Satellite (Sky) and Digital Cable (NTL*/Telewest)

By pressing the red button on their remote control, viewers enter BBCi's Wimbledon interactive service and will be presented with a multi-screen view of the matches available.

By using the up and down arrow keys on the handset followed by select, you can choose between play from the five courts (this includes the main channel match).

Live commentary accompanies each match, as well as an updated scoreboard.

By pressing the blue button on the remote, viewers can access a menu and choose from the following options:

Chat – A live chat on one of four topics (which change daily). Viewers can enter the discussion via their remote control (Sky and Cable by text message, or by e-mail)
