BBC LONDON 94.9 FM

Raise a laugh for BBC Children In Need with BBC London 94.9 FM's star studded comedy night

Sit back and enjoy a night of side-splitting laughter while raising money for BBC Children in Need with BBC London's 11th annual Night of Comedy at Shepherds Bush Empire on Wednesday, 13 November.

One of the top stars of the night, and guaranteed to get you laughing, is Danny la Rue – introduced by his biggest fan, BBC London's Danny Baker.

The night will also feature BBC London 94.9FM weekend regulars Mel and Sue. They will take to the stage for a live rendition of their new radio soap opera.

A regular on the comedy circuit and big screen, Perrier nominated Omid Djalili is set to please the crowds as is Jason Wood, already dubbed by some as the new Graham Norton with the added bonus of a terrific singing voice.

There's a chance to see the acclaimed Count Arthur Strong, who sold-out his shows in Edinburgh, a faded matinee idol who can’t comprehend that his time in the spotlight has expired.

New talent comes from the sharp-witted Matt Blaize and Francesca Martinez who performed her first solo show at this year's Edinburgh Festival.

Compered by BBC London's Amy Lame and Jackie Clune - with a line-up guaranteed to have you in stitches - the 11th annual Night of Comedy promises to be a show not to be missed.
