For
the first time in seven years BBC WM has secured the rights to cover
all West Bromwich Albion's games for a whole season.
When Albion enter the Premiership in August - starting their campaign
against Manchester United - BBC WM will be with them every kick
of the way.
The
new one year deal means that BBC WM's football portfolio now includes
Aston Villa, Coventry City, Walsall, West Brom and Wolves.
Keith
Beech, Station Editor, says: "Joining Albion in the Premiership
is great news for BBC WM and our listeners. Now we can offer coverage
of five Midlands football clubs - undisputedly the most comprehensive
sports coverage in the area."
BBC
WM will be able to broadcast all Albion's games, both at home and
away.
