Morning thoughts: The late edition
First up, the prominent US democrat senator, Joe Lieberman, has lost his candidature for his party over his pro Iraq war stance. We want to know how important is the anti war vote in America?
Knife Crime in the UK has shot up 73% according to the front page of the Times newspaper here in England. We asked about the fear of knife crime a couple of months ago when the police announced there was to be a knife amnesty and got a great response. But these figures seem to suggest the amnesty hasn't worked? What's your experience of knife crime where you live? Does it worry you? Do you carry a knife?
Another big story in the UK is the arrest of a newspaper journalist for allegedly listening in to the phone calls of Prince Charles' staff. Are journalists being put under too much pressure to get the big scoop?
The continuing Middle East stale mate will, i'm sure, feature at some point during the show but we haven't had our meeting yet so, as per usual, when we know you'll know.
While you're waiting here's a flavour of some of today's articles on the conflict. If you think we're missing an angle let us know.
