Festival faces

Here are some useful links to help you get the best coverage of this year's Llangollen International Music Eisteddfod, via the web, TV and radio.

As a quick aside, you may get some different perspectives from social media sites like Twitter where, among others, Katherine Jenkins - performing the opening gala - is a regular user [@kjofficial], interacting with fans and sharing photos from behind the scenes.

Meanwhile, Mervyn Cousins, the eisteddfod's executive director, is also a keen blogger.

BBC Cymru Wales has a number of live radio programmes coming from Llangollen pavilion over the week with Roy Noble coming live from the showfield from 2pm on Wednesday. [Listen live via the iplayer]

And TV coverage comes from S4C.

Another great way to enjoy the colour of the world music festival - which features musicians and performers from 50 nations - is via visitors' photos from around the town and festival field.

We showcase the best of them via a group on the photo sharing website, Flickr: Llangollen International Eisteddfod.

That's it for now - but if we've missed any good links out then add them via the form below.

Enjoy the festival - and remember to keep checking our homepage for updates from us regarding this year's festival.

Hwyl am y tro - Bye for now.
