Answer: They've all got ties with Wrexham!

First, Hollywood actor Mickey Rourke met with Wrexham rugby player Gareth Thomas to discuss the possiblity of playing the Crusaders star in a film about his life.

Gareth made the revelation himself, tweeting the message:

"Spent last night in London with Mickey Rourke. What a great guy. Went with him to J. Ross show."

Then, the week-long AEGON GB Pro-Series got under way at the North Wales Regional Tennis Centre with Britain's best professional tennis players among the international field, including Wrexham players..

And, just around the corner at the Racecourse stadium, former world heavyweight champion Mike Tyson dropped by last night to sign autographs and pose for pictures with fans - although they had to pay.

Meanwhile, there's a Wrexham v Liverpool XI friendly tomorrow. And local team, The New Saints play their Uefa Champions League second qualifying round, second leg match tonight.

If that wasn't enough sport for you, I read today that Wales' athletes have been set an "unashamedly ambitious" target of 35 medals at the 2014 Commonweath Games.
