Linked: G20 summit, a Denbigh farm and Shotton traffic
What's the connection between the traffic problems at Shotton and Welsh lamb from a Denbigh farm served by Jamie Oliver at the G20 leaders' dinner last night?
Well, the answer is...
Contributor Arwel felt compelled to pick us up on fact that we'd failed to mention yesterday that celebrity chef Jamie Oliver had chosen Denbigh's Elwy Valley Welsh Lamb for the G20 leaders' dinner last night.
Well, the Daily Post mentions the local angle to the story in today's 'paper while yesterday's Guardian gave a broader view as to what was on the menu.
Meanwhile, the on-going rants about traffic hold-ups going from Queensferry and through Shotton get another airing this week - and not for the first time.
So, what's the connection?
Well, Arwel took the trouble of writing to us directly to say 'hey, you should be covering this story', while you'll notice that the unrelated Shotton traffic story has been picked up by the local 'papers reacting to people's traffic concerns - after all, 400+ people have joined the Facebook group, For God's sake why won't Flintshire CC sort the traffic out in Shotton?
Do you see the connection? Basically, it's worth having your say.
Now, more than ever, people are listening.
