Here's a round-up of photos and links showing how the area has been affected by the heavy rain over the last few days.

Meanwhile, Vertigogen was at Loggerheads Country Park where the river burst its banks turning a path by the visitor centre and outdoor shop into a river. Further along the river, the footbridge alongside the ford was cut off due to the forceful high water level which was sending huge tree trunks down stream.

There's a photo of the old stone bridge at Rhewl which has partially collasped due to the power of the River Clwyd.
