Further to our learning related blogs like Education's wasted on the young, NEWI, Wrexham, is today hosting the convention, Embracing Diversity, Building Pathways into University.
Whilst the title might not sound the most riveting, the aim is to find ways to show people that higher education is open to everyone:
"Ensuring that university is open to all continues to prove challenging. This conference will bring together individuals from diverse perspectives to examine the perceptions, attitudes and expectations associated with a higher education experience".
