UPDATE: Sculpture being unveiled on Sat Aug 16 11am

One of the replica bright yellow Superlambanana sculptures currently popping up all over place as part of an exhibition marking Liverpool Capital of Culture, could be erected on top of Moel Famau.

And whilst there's not much love for the idea among readers of the Evening Leader, reaction in Liverpool is a lot warmer where people there have had a decade to get used to the original SuperLambBanana.

Meanwhile, the Flintshire Chronicle explains that pupils from the Venerable Edward Morgan Catholic Primary School, Shotton, and Penyffordd Primary School will be decorating the replica sculpture when it arrives at Wepre Park on July 14.

It is then expected to arrive on Moel Famau on August 16 and will remain on the mountain for about a month before being removed and sold at auction along with the other 100 replicas.
