Chief Constable pounces on his day off - Chief's blog
After spending the day climbing around Cadair Idris, the Chief blogs:
...the trip back was enlivened by having to stop and "book" someone for a quite outrageous piece of dangerous overtaking in contravention of a double white line system on the A470, the second time in a month that I've felt absolutely obliged to do so. I remain a constable in law and at heart, and as all police officers know this is a 24/7 responsibility - we are never really off-duty; and so my day in the hills on my weekend off has produced a law enforcement and safety benefit to society. The public gets (much) more than it pays for with North Wales Police!
