Further to the blog, Power to the people [thanks to technology, you may want want to save https://twitter.com/bbcwrexham [what is twitter?] to your bookmarks or use the twitterfeed to get updates [every 30mins] of the stories, blogs and websites we're following.

Why? Well, we're trying different techniques to get you to the things we think you'll be interested in as quickly as possible.

How do we do it? Regular readers [tips and tricks ]will know we have been using a Google feedreader - there are many other news readers out there - to search the web for us and it has a shared place where we can highlight things of interest.

Twitter goes to that page every 30 mins, grabbing only the first sentence and the link.

It then makes that info available to you on a page that looks like this - but it could also drop into your own feedreader to save you ever having to visit the site again to look for updates.

Why do you need one over the other? You don't. You could use either depending on your preference for a more detailed explanation of the story, the headline and the source - or you could just get the first sentence and the link to the news source. It's up to you.
