Vote for a new bridge at Rhyl
Denbighshire Council is bidding for Lottery cash to build a cycle-safe bridge between Rhyl & Kinmel Bay because the Grade II listed Blue Bridge - which can't be altered - isn't regarded as the most safe for cyclists, according to www.denbighshire.gov.uk.
For the scheme to be successful, you have to log on to www.sustransconnect2.org.uk and vote for the scheme as the most popular bid will win a cash hand-out. It's listed on the website as Rhyl, bridge at Foryd Harbour, River Clwyd.
Personally, I've used the bridge as part of the coastal cycle path and it does feel a little dicey, especially when you've got kids in tow.
