A major exhibition is being held in Wrexham showcasing ‘The Cream of British Animation’ and featuring work by Mackinnon & Saunders (Corpse Bride, Mars Attacks) and characters from Cosgrove Hall Films (Noddy, Little Robots, Postman Pat) and HOT Animation (Bob the Builder, Pingu).

It's being held here as part of the Wrexham Science Festival and really is a big deal, according to industry website www.4rfv.co.uk.

NEWI is one of the main driving forces behind the science festival again this year - and are also organising a Wrexham Science Film Festival.

Among their former students are the team behind a new film and animation company called Frozen Moon Productions and you can view some of their work online.
