A night at the Sonys

Simon Mayo won Speech Broadcaster of the Year last night at the awards ceremony in central London. He made a lovely speech and broke his glasses as he accepted his award.

Our programme was "edged out" (ie we didn't win anything) in the listener participation category. However I was beaten by my other half and his programme World Have Your Say - so there is some joy in our house...
