I'm the BBC's media correspondent and this is my brief selection of what you need to know.
The Tory chairman of the Lords Communications Committee Lord Fowler has told the Sunday Express the new government could install a non-executive chairman on the BBC board to push through salary cuts for stars and executives. They would be separate from the chairman of the governing body, the BBC Trust.
The Telegraph reports that the Church of England has told the BBC Trust the BBC must not cut religious broadcasting and should introduce a regular religious programme on Radio 1 to appeal to young people.
The BBC newspaper review says the papers are analysing Lord Triesman's reported remarks about bribery in world football.
