Two more stories

Two new BBC stories today based on use of freedom of information:

Dog theft is on the increase in London - and over half the dogs stolen are Staffordshire Bull Terriers.

The government considered but rejected launching a British operation to try to arrest suspects for the killing of six UK Red Caps in Iraq in 2003.

The first is based on documents obtained from the Metropolitan Police, the second from the Foreign Office. Both are public authorities that the BBC has made other FOI requests to in the past three months - so both stories could have been blocked under the government's planned changes to FOI.
