Twitter@5: Five years of 140-character social networking

It has been five years since Twitter was launched when one of its founders, Jack Dorsey, tweeted "just setting up my twttr'.

Since then the micro-blogging site has grown hugely in popularity - over 140 million tweets are published every day.

Mohamed Yehia from the BBC's Arabic Service discusses Twitter's success with Richard Coope, social media expert at the Radley Yelder communications company.
