The Harare International Festival of the Arts - Hifa - is difficult enough to run at the best of times.
The yearly event takes place in the capital of Zimbabwe - a country in the midst of a massive economic crisis, with inflation officially at 100,000 percent, and essential supplies like power and water unreliable at best.
But the festival's founder and director Manuel Bagorro this year found himself attempting to put the show on amidst the chaos and confusion of a dramatic - and still unconcluded - election.
Harare Festival is an audio journal made by Mr Bagorro himself, recording his daily battles to get his artists together and his venue in order to provide a cultural brightspot in a bleak and uncertain political climate.
First broadcast 18 April 2008.
