  • Completed in 1701, this William & Mary-style house is famous for its fine painted ceilings and staircase.
  • Outside there is an an orangery, ice house, pavilions and working mushroom house.
  • It has 20-acres of garden, recreated in keeping with the period of the house, and is surrounded by 395 acres of parkland.
  • The building and grounds are now owned by the National Trust.
