The new hospice will provide another 10 bedrooms and will be a local lifeline for families in Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Gloucestershire and Warwickshire.

It has an adolescent wing, a hydrotherapy pool, a multi-sensory room, a special bedroom and about an acre of landscaped gardens.

The site just south of Worcester City Centre has been donated and £4million has been raised to build the hospice.
