MusiciansYou are in: Hereford and Worcester > Entertainment > Friday Session > Musicians > FMC ![]() FMCBy songwriter Reg Marshall The main aim of the band is to rock, write good rhythms, good music and great lyrics!
I have been writing and recording my own songs for some time now and last year I decided to form a band to get out there and start playing them! As I sing like a strangled cat, I needed a good rock singer and Steve fitted the bill perfectly. I met him when we played in the White Eagle band together, which was formed to play just one gig at Nozstock in 2004. Steve is also a writer and our set is a mixture of both our songs plus some co-written ones.
The main aim of the band is to rock, write good rhythms, good music and great lyrics - at least that's what we think! We teamed up with Jack Sambrook and Mark Bellerby and spent the first few months rehearsing, recording and writing before playing our first gig at the Hop Pole in Hereford back in May 2006. It was an excellent night and made even better by the fact that we refused to do any covers. FMC session snapsAlthough we are a Hereford band, we don't really know anyone in the local music scene and would really like to speak to any promoters in the Hereford and Worcester area who might be interested in putting on gigs for us, as we want to play as much as possible - money and distance is of no object. You can listen to all the latest music from across the two counties on the Friday Session, every week from 7pm, on BBC Hereford & Worcester.last updated: 16/01/2009 at 23:02 Have Your SayHave you seen FMC live?
