The Jake Flowers Scandal are a two piece rock and roll band, with a stadium-sized sound. Since forming in May 2006, these two lads quickly found their feet, playing some of the biggest gigs on the summer, including The Green Man Festival, A Fistful of Twisted Folk event, The Night & Day in Manchester and 93 Feet East in London. The Scandal have also played headline slots in Wolverhampton, Sheffield and London. ![]() Jake Jake FlowersBefore embarking on the 'Scandal', Jake Flowers had previously released two solo records on his Shackled Ram Records label and has played with some of the new folk scene's finest acts. Since teaming up with drummer Ed Gauden, the Scandal's sound has taken to a more electric and acoustic feel. ![]() Ed Ed GaudenEd was one of the founding members of The Sunshine Underground before he left to study jazz drumming at The Birmingham Conservatoire. Gauden has also appeared on the same bill as Herbie Hancock and other jazz greats at the Cheltenham Jazz Festival. He is now using his background in jazz to bring interesting and an unusual sound to the rock and roll scene in Worcestershire.
