They started at the age of 15, but Jay Lawson-Pearce remains the only original band member of this popular Worcestershire outfit.

Nomad 67 was started by Jay when he was just 15-years-old, and we have had various band members before settling on our now permanent line-up.

Dave Small has drummed for us in Switzerland, various UK venues - including the Birmingham Bar Fly and The Actress & Bishop and recorded our last demo with legendary producer Gavin Monaghan at The Magic Garden recording studios.

Dave will be known to many of you as frontman with Aura who have since split up, so Dave can dedicate his time to Nomad67. If you enjoyed seeing Dave as a singer, wait to you see him drumming - he is amazing!

Nomad 67 at the Birmingham Carling Academy

Jay met Dan at Worcester Music Tech; Dan is a true dedicated Bassman and not just a wannabe guitarist playing bass to make the numbers up!

Gavin has recently produced albums for The Twang and The Editors and in the past he has worked on the BBC Peel sessions and with bands including The Smiths and The Stranglers.

Before working with Gavin, Nomad67 worked with Muff Murfin, the record producer behind Black Sabbath and Judas Priest.

Their punk pop sound has drawn comparisons with many bands, including Ash and The Stooges, but their similarity to Nirvana crops up most of all.

i think they are amazin.the guy at the bottom doesnt know what he is talking about. he is just jealous because he cant play an instrument. I have seen them play loads of times and they are really good. they are not rich.

Rich kids with a total cliche of the british youth. You're not from washington state, and stop trying to suggest your all from broken homes, and learn to not put nirvana riffs in your songs.
