MusiciansYou are in: Hereford and Worcester > Entertainment > Friday Session > Musicians > Linerunners ![]() LinerunnersQuartet from Hereford who play edgy, thoughtful, original rock.
Linerunners have been together for over 10 years. They perform original material with a highly distinctive sound and style. Influenced by the likes of Nick Cave, REM, Joy Division and Talking Heads, Linerunners appeal to anyone who appreciates edgy, thoughtful, original rock. Help playing audio/video Families and work commitments mean spare time for gigging, rehearsals and songwriting is limited, so they tend to do maybe 6 or 7 gigs a year in and around Hereford - going for quality over quantity. A lot of the band time together is spent on songwriting and arrangements and they feel that this is one of their strongpoints. The band say: "A frequent post-gig comment from punters is that they can't believe we wrote all the songs, and why the hell we haven't been signed up!" You can listen to all the latest music from across the two counties on the Friday Session, every week from 7pm on BBC Hereford & Worcester.last updated: 16/01/2009 at 23:17 Have Your SayHave you ever been to see the Linerunners play live?
