Future Friction: Nizam

Nizam is a hip hop MC from Toronto, Canada. He's inspired by the sounds of Soul, Hip Hop, Jazz, Drum N Bass, Hindi and Bhangra. As an artist he was heavily influenced by his travels to India and found his voice through hip hop. Some of his musical heroes include Gangstarr, Rakim, The Wu Tang Clan and Pete Rock. He's working on a mixtape which he plans to release in 2008.

Future Friction: S-Endz

S-Endz is a vocalist and producer. He describes his sound as 'neofunk', which is a blend of hip-hop, rock, funk and electro. He is known as the rapper of electro desi band Swami and is also a member of  rap group ‘Tha Havenotz’ – the final group put together by the late Tupac Shakur. Look out for his album “Emanate” dropping in 2008, with production from S-Endz, DJ Swami, Subs and Fusing Naked Beats.

Producer, LH1 has a love and passion for music of all genres. Growing up, he listened to everything from rock, funk, hip-hop, R&B and jungle which he incorporates into his DJ sets and productions. He’s currently working on projects with the likes of Surinder Rattan, PMC, Metz & Trix and Zed Bias. LH1’s latest release ‘Beat Rocking’ is currently causing a stir in the industry with bigger and better things on the way.

Future Friction: Taykova

Taykova are a three strong Hip Hop collective from Toronto, Canada. Scarkat and Mili.Act rap whilst thr produces the beats.  All three men discovered hip hop on the streets of Toronto, but they've created their own take on it -  representing both east and western culture through their rhymes and beats. Mili.Act flows in Hindi while Scarkat lays it down in English. Scarkat released his first promotional solo mixtape ‘Can I Rap?’ last year which was produced by thr. The group Taykova is now putting the finishing touches on their first half Hindi half English album.
