Nivla was born and raised near New York City and is a rapper and a beatboxer. He likes to experiment with American and South Asian sounds in his music and is influenced by Jay Z, Nas and 2 Pac. His debut album 'Child of God' is out to buy now. Nivla has already received recognition from Nike, who picked his track 'Be Easy (Koi Naa)' to feature in it's Rockstar Workout Mixtape.

Singer, multi instrumentalist & DJ Bishi was born into a Bengali musical family.  She's trained in both Eastern & Western ‘classical’ traditions and has studied sitar at The Ravi Shankar School for Music.  Her forthcoming album ‘Nights at The Circus’ fuses British pop, folk influences and street lyrics. With a forthcoming US tour and an appearance at Bestival, 2007 looks bright for Bishi.

Future Friction Vivek Shraya

Vivek Shraya is a singer and songwriter from Toronto in Canada and he blends Indie with Pop and Electronica.  He grew up immersed in Asian music and didn't listen to western music until the age of 15.   However, he's inspired by artists like Goldfrapp, Diplo and Prince.  Vivek has performed at music festivals and events in North America and is currently looking to break through into Europe.


Future Friction G Samra

G Samra is an experimental bhangra producer from Bicester. His first release was a collaboration with Panjabi folk singer Surinder Shinda 5 years ago and since then he has featured on 'Desi Beats Vol 1' compiled by PHS. His first EP 'The First Cut' was released 2 years ago and has been reworked for a 2007 release. His new EP 'Back for the Second' is out now.
