Inspired by conscious rappers like Immortal Technique and Nas, Adot has collaborated with artists such as Raxstar, Kan D Man and A.D.P to name a few. He's currently locked in the studios with A.D.P working on his debut album 'Class A'. ![]() 16|07|07Shaair and Func are alternative electronica duo from Mumbai. Shaair aka Monica comes from a New York Broadway background; she sings, songwrites, dances and choreographs. Func aka Randolph is best known as the producer and guitarist for Indian rock band Pentagram and has produced tracks for Bollywood blockbusters like Don. Their debut album 'New Day' is out now and a second album will drop early next year. ![]() 09|07|07The Kominas are a Desi Punk band formed in Boston in 2005. They are Shahjehan Khan, Basim Usmani, Arjun, Karna Ray and Danny Dhol Drums. The band tackle subjects such as relationships, culture, homophobia and religion. In the winter of 2007, bassist Basim Usmani moved to Lahore to work on his punjabi and new music, with influences such as The Clash, Wu Tang Clan, Kuldeep Manak and M.I.A, The Kominas are definitely ones to watch. ![]() 02|07|07Superswamis are three underground musicians from London and have been together since 2005. They are Rishi (Lyricist), George (Musician) and Govin (Producer). Their music integrates Indian influences into a modern western classical style. They've been making music since 2005 and have developed their sounds from freestyle jams to traditional rajasthani folk songs, sitar crescendos and dark orchestral pounding riffs. Their future tracks will touch upon hip-hop, urban electro, widescreen sampling all tied together with their signature touch. |
